Job Title: Bookings Assistant (Part Time )
Location: Amsterdam / Remote
Position Summary:
The Bookings Assistant (Part Time) is responsible for supporting the smooth execution of honeymoon trips by managing client checklists, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining operational databases. The ideal candidate is organised, detail-oriented and technically savvy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client checklists, ensuring tasks are correctly assigned and completed on time.
- Send pre-arrival information to hotels ensuring they have all relevant client details (e.g., arrival times, preferences, special requests).
- Double-check all itineraries for accuracy before sending them to clients.
- Distribute pre-departure information to clients.
- Assist clients with flight check-ins, ensuring all details are correctly entered.
- Provide on-trip support for clients as needed, resolving issues promptly to maintain a seamless experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Collect, organize, and update supplier contact information in the company’s master database.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Hospitality or tourism degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Demonstrable experience and/or interest in operations, customer service, or sales within the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with travel planning and booking systems, or database management is a plus.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Experience with Canva is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: This is a part time role and will require 10-20 hours of work per week. Please note flexible hours may be required, including occasional weekends or evenings to support client needs. Hours may not be consistent on a week-to-week basis dependent on workload.
- Location: This role is fully remote, although the ideal candidate would be located in an US or European time zone.
