Billing & Revenue Analyst – Mission-Driven Startup – Remote

Our client, a mission-driven technology start-up that’s recently raised $100M+ in funding from top name VC-firms, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Billing & Revenue Analyst to join their growing finance team. The role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment while partnering directly with the VP of Finance to establish and scale the company’s billing, AR, and collections operations.

Responsibilities:

Own the full spectrum of billing and accounts receivable functions, including reconciliation of incoming law firm payments, verification of amounts, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Build structure and documentation around payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scalability as the company grows.
Communicate with external partners to resolve discrepancies, track collections, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon payment terms.
Develop and implement scalable workflows and reporting processes to support new partnerships.
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance leadership, operations, and account management to streamline the revenue process.
Leverage advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) to track, analyze, and report on billing and collections activity.
Support monthly close activities by preparing reconciliations and ensuring billing accuracy.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in billing, revenue operations, AR, or collections.
Strong Excel skills, with proven ability to manage large datasets and perform reconciliations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact daily with external partners.
Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to own a function from day one in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000

Location: Remote
