Analyst, Deal Execution (Remote)
We are seeking an Analyst to support the underwriting, execution, and monitoring of private credit investments. The Analyst will work closely with Associates and senior investment professionals and play a critical role from initial deal evaluation through post-investment portfolio management.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated early-career professional seeking hands-on transaction exposure, ownership of analytical work, and the opportunity to grow alongside a small and expanding private credit platform.
Key Responsibilities – Investment Analysis & Deal Support• Conduct detailed company and industry research, including market sizing, competitive dynamics, and business model assessment.
• Perform financial analysis of prospective investments, including historical performance, cash flow analysis, and key credit metrics.
• Develop diligence questions and analytical workstreams based on financial and business analysis.
• Support due diligence efforts by interacting with external consultants and advisors.
• Assist in compliance checks and background diligence as part of the underwriting process.
• Prepare deal screening materials, investment committee memoranda, and supporting analyses using established templates.
Portfolio Monitoring & Reporting• Prepare quarterly return forecasts, portfolio commentary, and internal reporting materials.
• Build relationships with portfolio company contacts to support ongoing monitoring and information flow.
• Assist in evaluating risks, opportunities, and potential follow-on investment needs within the portfolio.
• Work closely with Associates and senior team members on each transaction, providing timely, accurate, and thoughtful analysis.
• Take ownership of work product quality while operating in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
• Develop the skills and experience necessary for advancement within the firm over time.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, private credit, private equity, commercial banking, or a related field.
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively while thinking independently.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, remote environment.
