We are excited to announce an opportunity within our organization for the role of Systems Administrator.

The Role:

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join an already established global team that supports both internal and external teams in a fully remote, global, environment.

The Location:

This is a Remote Role.

The day-to-day responsibilities of the position include:

* First and Second Level Support / Incident Management

* Overseeing the maintenance and development of the company's cloud-based, customer-facing infrastructure - K8s, DigitalOcean, Proxmox, etc.

* Overseeing the IT strategy for the internal company infrastructure - email, network, laptops, voice, servers, backups, etc.

* Participate in the 24x7 on-call rotation.

* Prepare and deploy new IT equipment for users, help team with deployment of other hardware.

* Troubleshooting and support for end users and working with them to solve existing problems.

* Configure, monitor, and maintain updated virus protection software.

Required skills/experience:

* Linux system administration.

* Knowledge of virtualization environments, e. g. Proxmox

* Experience migrating and managing services in Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

* Programming/scripting skills, preferably Python or bash.

Nice-to-have skills:

* Experience with database administration, e.g., MySQL or Mongo

* Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Gitlab and Docker.

* Experience running customer facing services in cloud platforms such as DigitalOcean.

* Knowledge of web protocols, e.g. HTTP, TLS, DNS, etc.

* Experience with a configuration management system such as Puppet.

* Experience deploying and managing a Zabbix based monitoring system.

Conditions:

Role Type: Digital Nomad, Fully Remote.
Contract Type: Contractor / Freelancer (Not Direct Cyprus Hire).
Rate Type: Day Rate.
Working Days: 5 Days per week (5 from any 7).
Working Hours: Flexible, based on identified needs.
