Our Ohio client is seeking a fully remote Strategic Project Coordinator. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in the development and execution of project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assist in coordinating project activities, resources, and communications among cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, assisting in the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to gather and analyze project requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies within the organization.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in IT project coordination or project management
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts and terminology.
