About The Role

MaintainX is seeking a creative, data-driven Senior Social Media Manager to join our expanding marketing team. This remote position in Canada or the USA offers an exciting opportunity to shape and execute our social media strategy across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating compelling content, engaging with our online community, and amplifying MaintainX’s brand presence in the industrial SaaS space. You will serve as the voice of MaintainX on social channels, developing authentic relationships with prospects, customers, industry partners, and potential employees.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including demand generation, brand, HR, and leadership—to develop a content calendar that aligns with business goals. Your expertise in social media trends, content creation, and analytics will help position MaintainX as a thought leader and innovator in the industry. You will also experiment with new formats and platforms, continuously seeking innovative ways to express our brand and increase engagement. Monitoring social listening and industry conversations will be key to staying ahead of trends and seizing new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, particularly within B2B SaaS companies.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience creating and editing multimedia content, including videos.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok, including their algorithms and best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting social media metrics and insights.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools, with Sprout Social experience being a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with manufacturing, engineering, or industrial maintenance sectors is advantageous.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and innovative content creation.
  • Comfortable working with emerging technologies and AI tools to enhance content production.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to foster relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead MaintainX’s overall social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive content calendar supporting demand generation, branding, and HR initiatives.
  • Create, edit, and publish authentic, engaging, and platform-optimized content across all social channels.
  • Identify new opportunities for audience growth and lead generation, including managing boosted posts and paid campaigns.
  • Position MaintainX as a thought leader by elevating our visibility among current and prospective customers, industry peers, and potential employees.
  • Manage executive and leadership social media presence, including developing their personal branding strategies.
  • Oversee employee advocacy programs to amplify brand messaging through internal advocates.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics, prepare reports, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in industry conversations online, increasing brand affinity and establishing MaintainX as an industry innovator.
  • Lead social media experiments, such as testing new platforms, formats, live streams, and video content to enhance audience engagement.
  • Monitor social listening channels to proactively manage reputation and capitalize on emerging trends or issues.
