Our goal is to reduce period poverty and the environmental impact of traditional products by providing accessible and affordable alternatives tailored to various flow needs. Founded in April 2023, we aim to switch over 417 women to reusable products by the end of 2025, contributing to a greener and more equitable world.

Role Description

This is a remote volunteer role for a Social Media Manager at Abimbola. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for social media marketing, communication, content strategy, social media optimization (SMO), and writing. Tasks include managing social media platforms, creating engaging content, optimizing posts for visibility, and facilitating communication with our audience.

Qualifications

  • Social Media Marketing, Content Strategy, and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Experience in creating engaging social media content
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and trends
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Passion for menstrual equity and sustainability
  • Previous experience in volunteer or advocacy work is a plus
