About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join BEFF, a leader in battery technology insights through the Virtual Factory Platform (VFP).

We’re looking for highly motivated, results-driven SDRs to focus on cold calling and lead generation, targeting battery teams across academic institutions, research groups, automotive, mining, chemical, EV, electrification, and electronics companies.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the SDR will be responsible for booking meetings with key decision-makers and influencers in the battery sector.

This role requires a hunter mentality, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage with technical and research-focused professionals.

This is a 3-month contract role, requiring 2 hours per day, with a goal of 50 cold calls daily.


We are hiring following three positions:

a. Sales Development Representative - English Region

b. Sales Development Representative - German Region

c. Sales Development Representative - Japanese Region


What You Will Do

✅ Cold calling (50 calls/day) to engage battery researchers, engineers, and executives.

✅ Book qualified meetings with potential customers in academia, automotive, EV, and manufacturing.

✅ Identify pain points and match their needs to BEFF VFP’s unique value proposition.

✅ Follow up on leads generated through Cognism, HubSpot, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

✅ Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine outreach strategies.

✅ Maintain accurate records of conversations and lead progress in HubSpot CRM.


Must-Have

✔️ 1+ years of experience in an SDR, business development, or sales role.

✔️ Strong cold calling skills and ability to handle objections.

✔️ Energetic, persistent, and team-oriented—able to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

✔️ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (for US/EU role), German (for German/Austrian role) or Japanese (for Asia role).

✔️ Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts in battery manufacturing, electrification, and energy storage.

✔️ Self-motivated with a proven track record of hitting meeting targets.


Nice to Have

🔹 Experience in battery technology, energy storage, automotive, or research industries.

🔹 Familiarity with HubSpot, Cognism, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and MS Teams.

🔹 Experience using CRM and sales automation tools for outbound prospecting.

🔹 Understanding of technical sales within R&D and engineering teams.
