We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team! Our client is the largest wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment. We are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and experience leading at least 2 full-scale ERP implementations.

This is a remote contract-to-hire opportunity looking to start ASAP!!

Qualifications:

*Education and/or Experience: *Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; ten or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: A current or active certification in either Agile or PMI (PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP) is highly recommended for this role.

Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong Knowledge and experience of IT project and program management methodologies and lifecycles.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with managing projects involving ERP cloud-based platforms and the associated lifecycle
  • Demonstrated understanding of program and project management fundamentals (e.g., business case development, risk management, schedule management, and negotiation), with experience briefing Executive leadership
  • Demonstrated effective communications with business and technical teams both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business functions (Accounting, Sales, Inventory Management, Warehousing, IT) and what is needed/impact to each, to achieve project success
  • Previous experience managing complex projects or strategic programs and communication skills with stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders and successfully delivering results
  • Previous experience managing a minimum of 2 full-scale ERP Upgrades or Implementations in a complex environment (including experience managing design, test and operationalization phases).

  • Ability to manage conflict, and handle ambiguity effectively, is required for this role.
  • Ability to obtain quality project status data, analyze it and present a consolidated program status view to decisionmakers.
  • Strong business process orientation and ability to document processes.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate, and drive for results is required for this role.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets.
  • Ability to lead and influence others without formal authority.
  • Possesses strong skills in leading meetings, estimating, monitoring work, problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under stressful circumstances and deadline pressure and be flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus.
