Ruder Finn is seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to join a global team working on a large multinational corporation. The role will be focused on helping to manage an employee communications email marketing account. The individual will need to demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, adaptability, and strong communication skills. This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and smooth operation of projects related to the build, QA, deployment, and analytics tracking of dozens of emails per month.

The Senior Digital Project Manager’s job is to stay on top of all of the pieces of an email campaign, ensuring they stay on deadline. They must understand how all of the pieces come together and are tasked with making sure everything is accomplished to task. The Senior Digital Project Manager will also support other projects, such as developing and managing education related to client training on email marketing, tracking the team’s performance, and recommending new tools and approaches to improve client campaigns.

This position will be fully remote, and the working hours will be 6:00 pm – 3:30 am IST (8:30 am - 6:00 pm ET).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with developers and client contacts to oversee development and deployment of emails through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Perform QA testing to ensure the following: Email content renders well across email clients (mobile, desktop, etc.), email content and links match the client submission, content is proofed and error-free
  • Coordinate with client contacts to secure approval of emails, and address any edits that may be needed
  • Schedule emails through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Guide clients on account protocols and clearly answer questions (e.g., regarding use of proper email templates, etc.)
  • Process and upload distribution lists
  • Pull metrics reports from Salesforce Marketing Cloud and share reports with clients
  • Assist with additional email marketing projects, such as quarterly benchmark reports or template builds
  • Identifying potential roadblocks or delays with projects and clients to make sure things run smoothly
  • Assisting in breaking out project tasks and rearranging as needed to help ensure deadlines are met
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, and help implement them
  • Identify trends in client campaigns for reporting, and suggest opportunities for improvement (editorial and technical)
  • Occasionally, develop tools (such as PowerPoint presentations) to help educate clients on the email marketing service and SOP, new tools and offerings, etc.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Digital Project Manager or similar skill set
  • Preferably, familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (not required)
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment; specifically, at an agency
  • Ability and desire to work with a high degree of independence and ownership in a geographically distributed team consisting of other developers and project management resources
  • Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and availability to support the US East Coast
  • Business hours (8:30 am - 6:00 pm ET)
  • Advanced English level
  • Experience in working in an onsite/offshore delivery model is highly preferred
