Compensation: 130k-160k


Description:

We are seeking a high-performing Technical Project & Systems Lead to lead Agile delivery across cross-functional teams, guide the implementation of AI and automation initiatives, and directly manage a team of developers. This role bridges strategy and execution—driving key technology projects, championing innovation, and ensuring the development team is empowered to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions aligned with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end Agile project delivery: sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming.
  • Translate business needs into clear technical roadmaps and requirements.
  • Manage and mentor full-stack and platform developers; conduct code reviews and prioritize technical growth.
  • Align technical priorities with business stakeholders, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met.
  • Architect and oversee the development of scalable business systems using modern PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony) and the LAMP stack.
  • Optimize and integrate core operational platforms via APIs, data pipelines, and process automation.
  • Lead the evolution of business-critical systems (e.g., ETL flows, cloud infrastructure, internal tools).
  • Ensure high standards for security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Identify opportunities for AI, automation, and workflow optimization—and lead their development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across teams—data, operations, product, and executive leadership—to build unified, tech-driven solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement best-in-class tools to support Agile, DevOps, and data infrastructure maturity.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 6+ years in systems, software engineering, or data roles.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or similar Agile leadership role.
  • 2+ years leading cross-functional technical teams or projects.
  • Strong PHP experience (Laravel/Symfony), MySQL, Python, JSON, XML.
  • Proven expertise in API design, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based architecture (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, Git, CI/CD, and Agile delivery platforms (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Experience working with data models, warehouses, and visualizations.
