Position Overview:

Our outdoor retailer client is seeking a Product Marketing Specialist to join their Marketing Strategy and Campaign Management team. This fully remote, contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leader in the outdoor industry and contribute to marketing campaigns for new and exclusive products. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. You will get to work closely with diverse teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a trusted and respected leader in the outdoor industry.

Day in the Life:

  • Campaign Management: Manage go-to-market (GTM) details for product marketing, ensuring alignment with merchandising, digital, and visual merchandising teams.
  • Execution of Marketing Strategies: Lead GTM development and execution across owned, earned, and paid channels for product launches.
  • Collaboration: Partner with various teams (merchandising, marketing, digital) to adapt to shifts in product marketing.
  • Campaign Support: Assist campaign managers with tactical execution to meet marketing objectives.
  • Utilize Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel (basic knowledge), Outlook, and Teams for day-to-day tasks.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years in marketing, preferably supporting integrated marketing plans.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with the outdoor industry and related brands is a plus.
  • Experience in product marketing is preferred.
  • Experience working for a multi-brand retailer or in a marketing/advertising agency is preferred.
