Role Overview:

As the Product Manager: Energy Data Products, you will join our growing Product team, focused on designing, building, and implementing innovative energy data product solutions with our Enterprise Utility partners. This hybrid role combines product management, hands-on data analysis, and solution delivery. You will work closely with our engineering, data science, customer success, GTM and customer teams to deliver impactful solutions that address the complex needs of the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build out our data products and solutions for our growing customer base and internal teams
  • Conduct hands-on data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization. You will need expert-level SQL / analytical skills to be successful in this role
  • Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to customer delivery. Customer delivery is a key component of this role
  • Work with enterprise partners to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Collaborate with GTM and engineering teams to define product requirements and specifications
  • Partner with GTM teams to drive the go-to-market strategy for analytics solutions, including pricing, packaging, and positioning

Who We're Looking For:
\

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data-driven products
  • Data Skills: High proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and experience interpreting and visualizing large datasets
  • Technical Background: Understanding of cloud-based data solutions, APIs and BI tools (e.g., Quicksight, Looker)
  • Go-to-Market: Proven track record of taking analytics products or data solutions to market, from development to commercial success
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders and customers
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with geospatial data visualization and integration with third-party platforms

The salary range for this job is $135,000 to $190,000, plus equity and commission compensation dependent on experience.
