Position OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Product Designer/User Researcher with a balanced expertise in both design and research to join our team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the patient onboarding process for therapy, focusing on creating accessible, user-friendly experiences tailored for our patients. If you are passionate about marrying detailed research with thoughtful design to craft products that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Develop intuitive and accessible design layouts, sketches, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for mobile and web platforms, specifically tailored for older users.
  • Conduct in-depth usability studies to understand the needs and challenges of our users, translating this data into actionable design decisions.
  • Lead projects from conception to completion, applying strong project management skills to manage timelines and deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate user research into both strategic and tactical product decisions. Act as an internal consultant for design and product decisions.
  • Working with design systems and integrating them into the product development lifecycle, ensuring consistent and efficient design practices.

What You Bring

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in user research and design, with a portfolio that demonstrates expertise in crafting user-centric design solutions for complex problems.
  • Proven track record in conducting and applying usability research.
  • Strong capability in balancing exceptional visual design with functional, accessible product design.
  • Experience in health tech is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both professional skills and product outcomes.
