Power Platform Engineer (PowerShell Automation)

We have an immediate need for a Power Platform Engineer to join our client for a 1-year contract position that will be remote. This position will be responsible for creating and configuring user environments within the Microsoft Power Platform, using Powershell for automation, and creating RESTful APIs..

Location: Remote (Eastern Business Hours)

This job expects to pay about $75-82/hr (W2 only, no C2C) and benefits

What You’ll Do:

Responsible for creating and configuring user environments within the Microsoft Power Platform, ensuring they are optimized for usability, security, and scalability.
Establishing and enforcing governance policies and security guardrails across the Power Platform to maintain compliance and operational integrity.
Design and implement a wrapper around PowerShell scripts to expose them as RESTful APIs, enabling seamless integration with other systems and services across the organization.

Strong Power Platform Experience (5+ years)
Building and managing environments
Lifecycle and governance within the platform
No hands-on app building—focus is backend/platform-level work
PowerShell + API Development Skills
Build automation using PowerShell
Wrap scripts into RESTful APIs
No specific language preference (Python, JavaScript OK)
Governance & Platform Policies
Set up guardrails for platform usage
Build automation to enforce governance policies
Create integrations with backend system
