Job Title: Supply Chain & PBM Contracts Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 18-Month Contract-to-Hire (CTH)

Rate: Up to $77/hour (W2) | Up to $89/hour (C2C)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain & PBM Contracts SME to lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex pharmacy supply chain contracts, including both commercial and government programs. This role requires deep domain expertise in PBM operations and pharmacy contracting, along with a strong grasp of regulatory frameworks such as CMS, FEHBP, and Medicaid/Medicare.

This is a high-visibility position responsible for ensuring that pharmacy contracts are strategically negotiated, compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with both operational and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary owner for 16+ pharmacy contracts across commercial and government lines of business, including FEHBP and Medicaid/Medicare.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and modifications to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Partner with legal, procurement, supply chain, and operational teams to review, finalize, and operationalize contracts.
  • Ensure contract provisions meet applicable regulatory and business standards.
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation, including milestone tracking, version control, and performance monitoring.
  • Proactively manage risks related to contract non-compliance or performance gaps.
  • Support internal and external audits, readiness reviews, and performance reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in PBM, healthcare contracting, or pharmacy supply chain management
  • Strong attention to detail, contract structuring, and regulatory interpretation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment
