Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Product Design & QA Lead who can review and refine app designs (in Figma), assess front-end development output for style consistency and quality, and ensure smooth coordination between design and engineering. You’ll act as a quality gatekeeper, making sure our app has a polished, user-centric, and professional look and feel.
Key Responsibilities
- Review UI/UX designs and provide structured, professional feedback
- Work closely with designers in Figma to ensure consistency, clarity, accessibility, and modern design standards
- Review front-end implementation to ensure it matches Figma designs precisely across devices and screen sizes
- Collaborate with developers and the product team to resolve visual/UX issues
- Create and manage issues in Jira, referencing designs from Figma and tracking resolution status
- Leave comments and visual annotations directly in Figma when necessary for fast collaboration
- Conduct visual QA testing with a pixel-perfect mindset
- Help define and maintain a design quality checklist
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UI/UX design review, design ops, or front-end QA
- Expert-level Figma knowledge (components, commenting, version control)
- Comfortable using Jira to manage tasks, bugs, and QA tracking
- Strong understanding of responsive front-end development and user interface best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail in typography, layout, spacing, colour, and interaction behaviour
- Familiarity with design systems and scalable component libraries
- Ability to advocate for accessibility and usability (WCAG knowledge is a plus)
Bonus Skills
- Experience working on wellness or mental health platforms
- Exposure to no-code tools (e.g., Bubble)
- Understanding of WCAG/accessibility standards
