What you’ll be doing:

Internet, IT security and cyber-attacks are in the headlines every day. Business-critical customer workloads are hosted in our private cloud. Our team creates and manages secure networks for our customers using state-of-the-art solutions. We are looking for people who are passionate about such topics and want to be part of a strong team.

As part of the Network team, you are responsible for managing all physical and virtual connections that connect both customer and internal systems. Additionally, a significant part of our security measures falls under the Network Team's responsibility. You will handle the segmentation of customer and internal systems and protect them against unwanted access.

As a Network & Security Consultant you plan and execute network activities:

  • Day-to-day business: service requests and incident tickets
  • Firewall administration and updates.
  • Firewall ports opening.
  • IPSEC VPNs phase-in / phase-out.
  • Loss of connectivity troubleshooting.

As a Network & Security Consultant, you’ll have the opportunity to take on a mentoring role and guide our students and trainees

What qualifications you need:

  • You are fluent in German (min. B2) and English (B2).
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • You have professional experience as a network or security specialist (m/f/d).
  • You have relevant knowledge in one or more similar solutions and are interested in working with the following products or technologies: Cisco ACI, Cisco Meraki, Arista, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint ClusterXL, Checkpoint VSX, Citrix ADC, IPSEC, BGP, OSPF, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Python, CheckMK, IBM qRadar
