Pay Rate: $70-75/hour


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and BGP
  • Experience with network security principles and best practices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, and penetration testing.
  • Proficiency in network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, VoIP systems, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of network professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network/Telecommunication Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our network and telecommunication infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network and telecommunication systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VoIP, and unified communications.
  • Develop and enforce network security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and recommend network and telecommunication solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
  • Lead and mentor junior members of the network/telecommunication team, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
  • Evaluate new technologies and trends in network and telecommunication systems, making recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors to ensure the timely delivery of services and solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
