100% Remote (Must Sit EST or CST)

Pay Rate: $70-75/hour

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, CISSP) is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and BGP
Experience with network security principles and best practices, such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, encryption, and penetration testing.
Proficiency in network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless controllers, VoIP systems, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of network professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network/Telecommunication Engineer to join our dynamic IT department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our network and telecommunication infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain the organization's network and telecommunication systems, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, VoIP, and unified communications.
Develop and enforce network security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements and recommend network and telecommunication solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
Lead and mentor junior members of the network/telecommunication team, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
Evaluate new technologies and trends in network and telecommunication systems, making recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors to ensure the timely delivery of services and solutions.
Prepare and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
