Background Context:

We are seeking qualified freelance personnel and versatile individuals to assist with Large Language Model (LLM) training and QA. The ideal candidate should possess good language proficiency, cultural awareness, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

Details about the role:

• Tasks can include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Rank LLM prompt-answer pairs (using a defined quality framework).

• Write from scratch prompts, and/or answers. Write dialogues for selected topics.

• Rewrite a subject of conversations following requested guidelines and requests prioritizing safety, creativity, and correctness.

• Conduct research, when required, to develop writing/prompt ideas.

• Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

• Maintain knowledge of domain-specific terminology and stay up-to-date with language and cultural trends.

• Audit high-priority content, based on project requirements.

Desired background:

Creative writers/ Content writers/ Essay writers / L10n industry - translator or linguist/ English teachers/ Masters of Communication/ Literature graduates (including PhD)/ PhD in English literature/ Code developers with knowledge of various programming languages/ Lawyers and paralegals/ B.A. in Translation, Linguistics, or similar field of study.

Requirements:

• You are fluent in English and are a native speaker of the target language (eg. Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Urdu, Sinhalese, German, French, Spanish, Korean etc)

• You are able to work independently without direction, You are able to follow and adhere to instructions for tasks – on time and with attention to detail.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both the source and target languages.

• You have strong cultural awareness and understanding of language nuances to convey meaning accurately.

• You are proficient in using translation software and other relevant tools.

• You have good organizational and time management skills.

• You are familiar with industry-specific terminology and subject matter expertise is a plus.

• You need to have your own computer and functioning internet.

• A degree or certification in translation, linguistics, or a related field is a plus.
