Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing mechanical solutions for various projects. Daily responsibilities include evaluating project requirements, developing design concepts, creating technical drawings, performing calculations, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, working with a sustainability-focused approach, and preparing technical reports and documentation.

Qualifications
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical design, drafting, and related CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks
  • Proficiency in engineering calculations, HVAC systems design, and load analysis
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and manage project timelines
  • Knowledge of MEP systems, energy-efficient solutions, and sustainable design principles
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Working knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards relevant to mechanical systems
  • Experience in delivering quality-driven projects within deadlines is preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
