Aya is the first African period care brand to launch in the UK. We are committed to providing premium yet affordable period care. We are a growing startup with big ambitions and we're looking for a talented and passionate individual to help us make waves in the UK market.

Position Overview:

Aya is seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Marketing Manager to join our team for a 3-month contract. This is a pivotal role, working directly with our CMO to test our products in the UK market. You will be responsible for building brand awareness through content creation, influencers, PR, partnerships and starting to test driving sales through performance marketing. The ideal candidate must be comfortable wearing many hats and ready to take initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management: Develop and execute compelling, on-brand social media content across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Identify and collab with relevant influencers.
  • Public Relations: work with media contacts to secure press coverage and brand mentions.
  • Performance Marketing: setup and manage paid campaigns to drive online sales.
  • Collaborations: identify partners we should collab with and with with the CMO to execute.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing role
  • Strong experience in creating compelling and engaging content across various platforms.
  • Experience in influencer marketing and building relationships with media.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, adapting to changing priorities and wearing multiple hats.
