Job Description
We are seeking a professional with exceptional skills in comprehensive event management, focused on logistical handling and coordination between different departments. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in event production, as well as in the shipment of materials and effective team coordination to ensure that each project is executed smoothly and efficiently in the Caribbean.
Responsibilities:
1. **Comprehensive Event Management:**
- Oversee all aspects of event production, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Act as the main point of contact between internal and external teams to facilitate communication and coordination.
2. **Logistics and Material Shipping:**
- Plan and coordinate the shipping and receiving of materials needed for each event, ensuring proper handling and timely delivery.
- Manage transportation logistics, optimizing routes and delivery times.
3. **Interdepartmental Coordination:**
- Collaborate closely with different areas (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure effective integration in event execution.
- Organize follow-up meetings and provide regular updates on project status.
4. **Anticipation and Problem Solving:**
- Identify potential logistical challenges and proactively develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Resolve issues in real time during event production, ensuring a seamless experience.
5. **Analysis and Continuous Improvement:**
- Evaluate the efficiency of logistical processes post-event and propose improvements for future projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of each event and its logistical requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management and logistics, with a focus on interdepartmental coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of shipping and distribution processes in the Caribbean.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools and logistics software
- Experience with marketing agencies
