Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ETL pipelines utilizing Apache NiFi and Java Spring Boot to efficiently process and integrate substantial datasets from diverse sources.
  • Leverage your proficiency in Java programming, Spring Boot, and AWS Big Data technologies, including Redshift and Athena, to create scalable data solutions.
  • Enhance existing ETL scripts for improved performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to facilitate data preparation for model development and analysis.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation, encompassing database design, configuration, and performance metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to data governance standards.
  • Engage in a collaborative team atmosphere, sharing insights and encouraging ongoing learning.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.
  • Proficient in Java and Java Spring Boot Microservices.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Redshift, Athena, and Big Data technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree holders or 0 years for Master's degree holders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree.
  • Agile/SAFe Certification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience working with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or other federal healthcare programs is desirable.
