Instructional Designer

Our client in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with strong analytical skills. The primary goal is to reduce unnecessary compliance training and evaluate existing programs to ensure employees receive the appropriate regulatory training. Ideal candidates will have industry experience, preferably in pipeline operations, and must possess expertise in designing learning solutions to meet OSHA requirements.

Requirements

  • Must have 3+ years of planning and developing learning solutions for field operations audiences in the Oil & Gas industry to align with OSHA requirements; pipeline experience is preferred
  • Must have 5+ years of experience analyzing learning needs to align with the skills and needs of job roles and job families
  • Must have 5+ years as an ID responsible for the analysis, design, and evaluation of training across multiple modalities
  • Must be willing to travel to East Coast facilities and own a laptop
  • Excellent communication and interviewing skills required (verbal and written)
  • Experience in the Transportation industry or Energy is helpful
  • Experience in providing field operations and plant training to highly regulated industries such as those under DOT, TSA, FERC, and PHMSA is helpful

Start Date: Mid-October

Contract Length: 6 months+

Rate: 1099 hourly based on experience.

Hours: Part-time. 20 hours/week

Laptop: Must utilize own laptop

Location: Remote
