Job Description:

This position is a hybrid of inside sales data support and outside sales lead generation and pre-qualification. This position will support the C&I PV sales team in; lead generation, new prospects, pre-qualification, and customer accounts through project order execution. The Inside Sales Representative supports the management of PV customers for the C&I Sales team on a day-to-day basis, tasks including, but not limited to; (i) customer communication such as, onboarding new customers, responding to RFP proposal, providing general Sungrow and product information, and responding to customer request; (ii) lead generation by identifying and reaching out to potential customers, (iii) pre-qualification of customers and their projects (iv) strategize and collaborate with the C&I Sales team to forecast projects, track sales activities and achieve goals for the C&I Sales team (v) provide customer’s guidance on Sungrow products (vi) communication and collaboration with the PV sales team and other internal departments, (vii) CRM tool and other software data entry to support; keeping customer info updated, providing quotes, and executed purchaser orders, (viii) Sales administrative support, (iv) data management of customer and project documents in software programs and (v) coordinates and communicates closely with marketing and the C&I Sales team to support conferences, trade shows, and customer events.

The Inside Sales Representative will report to the Manager of Contracts Management and Inside Sales for PV Sales.

  • Ability to manage customer requests for Sungrow information and to take lead on customer request for proposals and review of customer documents with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide pre-post sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Sungrow PV string inverter product and their application.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets for lead generation and pre-qualifications.
  • Actively purse new sales opportunities through cold calls and emails.
  • Assist in planning, preparation and execution of customer events.
  • Follow up on sales leads generated from trade shows, marketing campaigns and other sales activities.
  • Collect and organize business cards and contact information from trade shows and customer events.
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders, including affiliates, and provide CRM management support. Experience with SAP C4, DocuSign, Teams, and SharePoint are a plus.
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Adobe, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum two years experience with inside sales or similar position in solar.
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
