Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Human Resources Generalist to play a pivotal role in supporting our Real Estate Group, which encompasses Acquisitions, Renovations & Turns, and Transaction Management teams. This position is essential for identifying and resolving HR-related challenges, crafting innovative solutions, and ensuring that HR strategies are aligned with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across the employee lifecycle in a remote work environment. You will report directly to the Director of Talent and work collaboratively with the People Ops Consultant and the Real Estate Executive Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide an outstanding employee experience through effective onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure transparent communication between HR and employees within the Real Estate Group.
  • Formulate and execute HR policies and procedures that correspond with real estate objectives.
  • Partner with the Director of Talent and People Ops Consultant to address sensitive matters, including conflict resolution, performance management, and compliance with company policies.
  • Act as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries from real estate personnel.
  • Develop and document policies to guarantee consistent operational practices, including attendance and security protocols.
  • Cultivate relationships with employees and management to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist the Director of Talent and People Ops Consultant with various strategic initiatives as required.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources or related fields.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred.
  • Experience within the Real Estate sector, especially with field teams.
  • Proven ability to manage HR functions across multiple states.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, such as Rippling, is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
