Head of Operations
Overview - Lauder Institute Alumni Association (LIAA) ~80 hours/month | U.S. Based Remote /Possible Hybrid Work | Mission-Driven Nonprofit
LIAA seeks an enthusiastic, part-time Head of Operations who is strategically minded, financially and technically savvy, and has a successful track record of executing projects with limited direction.
Reporting to the Board President, this is the operational backbone of LIAA—driving programs, engagement, administration, and governance in alignment with our mission.

- Program Development & Execution – 45% of role
- Marketing & Engagement – 20% of role
- Operations/Admin/Oversight of Consultant(s) – 15% of role
- Financial Stewardship – 10% of role
- Board Relations/Governance/Professionalization – 8% of role
- Fund Raising – 2% of role
Qualifications
- U.S. based (ideally East Coast) with the ability to legally work in the U.S.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree required; nonprofit or alumni association experience and mindset strongly preferred.
- Resourceful, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven with a track record of supporting mission driven organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage diplomatically with alumni, volunteers, and institutional partners.
- Highly organized with proven ability to independently manage multiple projects / deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and association management systems (e.g. Wild Apricot).
- Strong command of Google Drive’s features, functionalities, and tools.
- Tech savvy with ability to troubleshoot and adapt quickly.
- Does not need to be a member of the Lauder Institute community.
