Head of Business Development
0xcapital is an institutional crypto-backed lending platform providing secure, fully collateralized credit solutions for hedge funds, market makers, proprietary trading firms, family offices, and HNWIs. Our mission is to deliver institutional-grade liquidity backed by Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins with complete transparency and robust risk management.
We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to lead our global growth initiatives, drive client acquisition, and build strategic relationships across the digital asset ecosystem.
- Develop and execute 0xcapital’s global business development strategy.
- Lead outreach initiatives targeting hedge funds, prop trading firms, market makers, family offices, and Web3 treasuries.
- Build, manage, and mentor the BD and SDR team as the department scales.
- Work directly with executive leadership to align BD strategy with company goals.
- Source, qualify, and engage high-value institutional borrowers.
- Develop relationships with crypto-native and traditional financial institutions.
- Identify and close opportunities for strategic partnerships with custodians, exchanges, OTC desks, and prime brokerage networks.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to generate leads and strengthen the 0xcapital brand.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of institutional prospects across multiple geographies.
- Oversee daily outreach operations, ensuring continuous generation of quality leads.
- Optimize CRM workflows and reporting to improve conversion rates and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with product, risk, and operations teams to tailor lending solutions to client needs.
- Provide market insights and feedback to leadership on competitor activity, client requirements, and trends in institutional crypto finance.
- 4–7 years of experience in business development or institutional sales in crypto, fintech, FX, prime brokerage, lending, or digital asset custody.
- Existing relationships with hedge funds, market makers, HNWIs, or OTC desks is a major advantage.
- Proven ability to build and scale BD pipelines for high-ticket institutional financial products.
- Experience managing outreach teams (SDRs, BDs, Sales Associates).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Deep understanding of digital asset markets, lending structures, and institutional workflows.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Comfortable engaging with C-level leaders and professional investors.
