Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Freelance Resume Writer and Sales Representative to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This position combines the art of crafting exceptional resumes with the thrill of sales, offering a unique opportunity to showcase your skills in both areas. You’ll generate leads and sell CurryPro’s resume packages directly to clients on behalf of our brand, then create tailored, ATS-friendly resumes that meet our high standards as outlined in our style guide. This role is only open to U.S. residents, providing the freedom to work remotely while making a meaningful difference in clients’ careers.

Responsibilities

• Actively generate your own leads and sell resume packages directly to clients, representing CurryPro, targeting a minimum of 5 sales per project.

• Craft custom-tailored, ATS-friendly resumes based on CurryPro’s style guide, ensuring high-quality deliverables within 5 business days per resume.

• Submit weekly updates on sales leads and completed projects via email or Google Drive.

• Meet quality standards for resume writing and achieve project sales targets.

Compensation

• $25 writing fee per resume completed and approved by CurryPro.

• 20% commission on the total sale price of each resume package sold. For example, a $500 resume package sale yields $100 commission plus the $25 writing fee, totaling $125.

• Payments are made weekly via check, bank transfer, or PayPal, based on submitted invoices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, with the ability to generate leads, pitch services, and close deals effectively on behalf of CurryPro.

• Strong writing and editing skills, with experience crafting professional resumes that meet specific guidelines and ATS standards.

• Willingness to take on the dual role of lead generation and resume writing, balancing both responsibilities to meet project goals.

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and resume optimization best practices is a plus.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

• Access to necessary tools (e.g., computer, internet, writing software) to perform the role.

• Must be a U.S. resident and available for remote work with occasional virtual check-ins.

Project Details

This is a project-based role, with each project defined by a specific scope (e.g., completion of 10 resume sales and writing assignments). Projects can be terminated with 5 days’ notice by either party, or immediately for cause, such as failure to meet quality standards or sales targets.
