Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Fire Surveyor. The Fire Surveyor will be responsible for conducting fire safety assessments, developing fire safety strategies, and collaborating with clients to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. Responsibilities include the design and review of fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, suppression systems, and smoke control systems. The role also involves conducting risk assessments, advising on fire safety during building refurbishments, and preparing detailed reports and recommendations based on findings.


Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting fire safety assessments and developing fire safety strategies
  • Knowledge in fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, suppression systems, and smoke control systems
  • Skilled in risk assessments and hazard analysis
  • Proficient in report writing and preparing detailed recommendations
  • Excellent communication and client collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Relevant certifications or membership in fire safety organizations (e.g., Institute of Fire Engineers) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or related field
