A fast-growing gaming and entertainment group is looking for a Financial Accountant who will be responsible for a broad range of accounting tasks and provide essential support in financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger management. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter working towards their professional accounting qualification and looking to gain comprehensive experience in various aspects of accounting. This is a remote role for candidates based in Malta.

The Responsibilities of the Financial Accountant are:

Prepare financial statements and management reports.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
Manage invoicing, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
Assist with VAT returns, audits, and compliance.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
Drive process improvements and financial controls.

The Successful Financial Accountant will be:

Part-qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 2-3 years’ experience.
Proficient in Xero and advanced in Excel.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Effective communicator and team player.
Adaptable, proactive, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
