Role Description
ZINHLE MEDIA is seeking a thoughtful and empathetic Editorial Writer for a contract-based, remote role. The ideal candidate will craft insightful, engaging, and authentic editorial content, including articles, opinion pieces, and thought leadership content, that reflect the essence of our clients’ brands in the wellness and lifestyle space. This role requires exceptional storytelling, a strong editorial voice, and the ability to create compelling narratives that inform and inspire diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with clients and subject matter experts to gather insights and perspectives with sensitivity and care.
- Write compelling editorial content for blogs, magazines, websites, and thought leadership platforms.
- Ensure content is accurate, culturally relevant, and aligned with brand voice and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and editorial teams to develop cohesive content strategies.
- Adapt content for various platforms and audience demographics to maximize impact.
- Maintain ethical standards and a tone that resonates with wellness and lifestyle audiences.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in editorial writing, journalism, or storytelling in lifestyle, wellness, or cultural sectors.
- Strong interviewing and narrative development skills.
- Excellent written communication with a polished, insightful, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience working on-site with collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Background
- Background in wellness, lifestyle, or cultural editorial content creation.
- Familiarity with editorial guidelines, content calendars, or publishing workflows.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Creative Writing, or a related field. Equivalent experience in editorial writing or storytelling is also welcome.
