About The JobTailored Brands’ Enterprise Analytics team is central to our data-forrward strategy, driving insights into every aspect of our business, supporting stakeholders across the organization, and creating a legendary customer experience.

Our Enterprise Analytics team is seeking a Director, Store Analytics who will lead the analytical and data science efforts to support our core business in Store operations, Real Estate, labor management, rental & Outreach and Omni analytics. You will respond to solve complex business analytics requests and partner closely with senior stakeholders across various business domains to drive growth and provide thought leadership. You’ll also leverage your analytics and team leadership skills to coach, guide, and mentor team members so that they stay in critical path and provide actionable insights. You are also expected to present and articulate the findings and recommendations to stakeholders and executive committees.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

  • Directly manage and support the store analytics team (both onsite and offshore). You will inspire a high standard on the team for actionable insights, model best practices, and lead with strong retail business expertise
  • Partner with Store and Real Estate teams, delivering actionable strategic and tactical recommendations in a consultative approach to support business objectives
  • Drive strategic analytics to support payroll and labor decisions, include SPH and AHR
  • Provide sales forecast, sales transfer, and cannibalization analyses to guide real estate decisions on new, closed or relocated stores.
  • Measure the rental and outreach program effectiveness, and store related Test & Learn results and digging into the trends to understand what’s working and where opportunities lie.
  • Communicate and story-tell effectively by connecting the dots among KPIs and category trends
  • Own the analytics outcomes for store operations and Real estate teams, partnering with the business stakeholders to define and prioritize a roadmap as well as execute to plan.
  • Collaborate with data science colleagues to develop a roadmap of prediction and optimization capabilities to improve Ecommerce growth and Omni Merchandising efficiency.
  • Develop and streamline reporting and dashboards. Identify what metrics matter as you craft elegant reports and proactively monitor them. Improve data sources and automate processes so that you can maximize time spent on high value ad-hoc pursuits.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Data Engineering to develop ongoing improvements to data quality, standardized definitions, governance, tools, and approaches.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously based on what is most impactful to the business and our customers.
  • Present and articulate analyses in a clear, interpretable, and applicable way that can be shared widely, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Partner across Analytics to share learnings, align on methodologies and leverage best practices.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of experience in store analytics, with progressive responsibility initiating, executing, and presenting insights from analytics for cross-functional teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in the retail industry
  • 8+ years of experience directly managing people.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; act as a bridge among business, analytics and Data engineering teams.
  • Proven ability of delivering highly complex analytics projects involving methodology development, analysis, strategic recommendations, and presentation of the findings.
  • Proven track record in handling large-scale retail operations and possess deep insights into the complexities and challenges associated with managing multiple store locations.
  • Strong background in using data-driven approaches to forecast sales, transfer of sales and cannibalization when opening, closing, or relocating stores.
  • Experience to A/B testing process, outcomes, and tools (APT)
  • Confidence to scrutinize and share the limitations of our analyses when the data isn’t perfect.
  • Fluent with complex SQL queries and dataset transformations on large datasets.
  • Deep experience in advanced data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Power BI which allow you to create rich dashboards and derive insights.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field like Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or Industrial Engineering, or relevant experience. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach daily.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
  • Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location. Regular travel to the Dublin Corporate office for meetings will be necessary.

The starting salary for this position is $141,400 - $216,300 and may increase to $293,900 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 20% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
