Director, Product and Portfolio Management

Hedgeserv are looking to add a business analyst to our Back Office product team, who will work day to day in the product management of our accounting reconciliation and control check products.

The ideal candidate will be detail orientated, a good communicator, well organised and focused on delivering value added technical solutions to Hedgserv’s operational teams

Main Responsibilities:

-Work with development teams to ensure understanding of new requirements

-Work with QA team to ensure understanding of tasks, help define test scenarios for automation, and identify gaps in automated testing process.

-User acceptance testing of new features developed

-Updating Jira – writing cards, evidencing testing, updating status and management data

-Support production release process - manual testing, release sign off and rollout of new features to production

-Receive user feedback and requests and analyse user data; Participate in understanding, prioritising and delivering new features and functionalities

-Participate in regular stakeholder meetings and product updates

-Give efficient and effective support to production issues

Requirements:

-2+ years’ experience in a software development area, ideally in a product role

-Fluent in spoken and written English

-Experienced in gathering, analysing, and communicating product requirements

-Strategic mindset with a focus on delivering optimal product value

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

-Excellent organizational and time management skills

-Ability to work collaboratively within a large team and organisation

-Strong multitasking skills

Good to have experience:

-Financial services/Fintech industry

-Working with Jira

-Participating in software production release process

-Familiarity with databases and querying data (SQL and MongoDB)

-Working with applications in AWS

-Production support; issue prioritization and escalation
