Data Quality Analyst

North Scout are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to play a key role in our client's Data function. You will help enhance our data management practices by addressing data quality issues and recommending improvements.

This is initially a 12 month fixed-term contract, which is likely to become permanent based on growth in the function.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse data quality issues, identify root causes, and assess their impact on operations.
Develop data quality metrics and create dashboards with the Visualisation team.
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business processes affecting data quality.
Recommend improvements to processes and application configurations.
Review source system data to identify discrepancies.
Work with IT and data teams on data remediation plans.
Maintain documentation on data quality issues and share regular reports with stakeholders.
Manage the SharePoint site for documentation and information sharing.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Quality Analyst.
Strong understanding of data analysis principles and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive, adaptable approach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and basic SQL.
Knowledge of data governance and best practices; experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Purview is a plus.

This is a predominantly remote role which is signed off to £50k plus bonus and a strong benefits package.
