North Scout are seeking a detail-oriented Data Quality Analyst to play a key role in our client's Data function. You will help enhance our data management practices by addressing data quality issues and recommending improvements.

This is initially a 12 month fixed-term contract, which is likely to become permanent based on growth in the function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse data quality issues, identify root causes, and assess their impact on operations.
  • Develop data quality metrics and create dashboards with the Visualisation team.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business processes affecting data quality.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and application configurations.
  • Review source system data to identify discrepancies.
  • Work with IT and data teams on data remediation plans.
  • Maintain documentation on data quality issues and share regular reports with stakeholders.
  • Manage the SharePoint site for documentation and information sharing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Quality Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis principles and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, adaptable approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio and basic SQL.
  • Knowledge of data governance and best practices; experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Purview is a plus.

This is a predominantly remote role which is signed off to £50k plus bonus and a strong benefits package.
