Customer Support Representative
Hourly Wage: $16-20/hour up to 20 hours/week

ABOUT THE ROLE:
Blip makes digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising as seamless and scalable as online advertising; and our self-serve marketplace empowers businesses of all sizes to launch and optimize OOH campaigns anytime, anywhere, and on any budget.
We’re looking for a Customer Support Representative (part-time contractor, up to 20 hours/week) to join our team and help deliver friendly, reliable, and thoughtful support to our customers. In this role, you’ll primarily handle email inquiries with occasional outbound phone calls.
You’ll be the front line of communication—answering questions, resolving issues, and helping customers have a great experience with our platform. We value support team members who take ownership, communicate clearly, and care about the details—from tone of voice in an email to thorough follow-through on customer issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Respond to customer inquiries primarily via email with occasional outbound phone calls
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues or escalate to the appropriate team when necessary
- Communicate clearly, empathetically, and professionally in all interactions
- Document common issues and help improve internal support resources (like FAQs or help docs)
- Follow up on open issues to ensure timely resolution
- Proactively identify patterns in customer feedback and suggest improvements
- Set your own schedule with flexible working hours, while ensuring timely responses based on expectations aligned with your manager.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information responsibly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 1+ years of experience in a customer-facing support or service role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage time independently
- Comfortable with technology and able to learn new tools quickly
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing accurate and helpful responses
- Previous experience using tools like Gmail, Slack, Hubspot, Aircall
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet environment for occasional calls
- Enthusiastic about helping others and representing the brand with care
