The Role
Leonardo DRS is currently seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys helping others.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders. From responding to customer inquiries to supporting sales and service operations, you’ll serve as a key link between our customers and various teams within Leonardo DRS.
This is a remote position, with flexible hours (approximately 15–20 hours per week), offering a great opportunity for students, caregivers, or professionals seeking supplemental income with meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer service inquiries via email, phone, and web-based communication platforms.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, directing complex issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Uphold high standards of communication, professionalism, and confidentiality in all customer interactions.
- Continuously look for ways to improve service efficiency and the overall customer experience.
What You’ll Bring
- At least 1–2 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills—clear, friendly, and professional tone is a must.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with inquiries—your calm presence will make all the difference.
- High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Self-starter mindset—you take initiative and enjoy solving problems proactively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting defense, aerospace, or technology clients is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of basic logistics, procurement, or supply chain operations is a bonus.
- U.S. citizenship may be required due to government contract restrictions.
