Business Intelligence Developer (Freelance)

Job Description:

• Develop complex stored procedures and queries in SQL Server.
• Design, implement, and deploy solutions using Data Vault methodology.
• Design, implement, and deploy data warehousing solutions based on Kimball and/or Inmon methodologies.
• Implement and deploy SSIS ETL flows.
• Configure SSAS (multidimensional and tabular) to build data cubes.
• Utilize reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI for data visualization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Over 3 years of experience in database design and development using Data Vault modeling.
• Extensive experience (12+ years) writing Microsoft T-SQL code.
• More than 3 years of experience with Flyway deployment.
• Proficiency in SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and its components.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Vault modeling and implementation.
• Advanced experience in SSIS and SSAS (multidimensional + tabular) development and deployment.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher).
• At least 6 years of experience with Microsoft SSIS.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SSIS and SSAS server configuration.
• Experience with the development and configuration of Power BI on-premises.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems (e.g., TFS).
• Experience working within Agile teams using Scrum principles.
• 12+ years of experience in database dimensional modeling (Kimball + Inmon).
• 6+ years of experience configuring reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Details:

• The role is remote (first 5 working days on-site at the client’s premises).
• Daily rate: 350 EUR.
• Initial contract length: 160 working days with potential extension up to 5 years.
• Work model: Remote.
