Position Information

Are you tired of crunching numbers in a stuffy office and ready to unleash your analytical prowess from the comfort of your own home? We're on the hunt for a remote rockstar to join our team and take our business intelligence to new heights! If you're ready to dive into the world of insurance with a data-driven mindset and a sense of adventure, then keep reading because this opportunity is about to take your analytics game to a whole new level.

In this role, you will support our team in achieving their goals through effective business analytics, collaboration, and communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to analyze data from all functions of the company, including but not limited to sales, finance, operations, and human resources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments to understand their reporting needs and requirements.
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools to visualize key performance indicators and metrics.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights across different functions of the company.
  • Generate daily reports and ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Work closely with co-workers to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility.
  • Communicate results of analysis effectively with management and business partners.
  • Provide training and support on accessing and interpreting reports and analytics.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in reporting and analytics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics) preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and analytics, preferably in a cross-functional setting.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, and business intelligence tools (experience in Looker/Google Analytics preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.
  • Private Passenger Auto Insurance Experience desired, but not required if analytic skills outweigh PPA experience.

Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $80K-$100K (full-time).
  • This position is 100% remote, but you must live in the United States. Travel is expected to be <5%. Preference given to individuals who can work typical EST hours.
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and more. This position also qualifies for VERVE’s “Take What You Need” PTO policy.
