About the RoleWe're looking for a Business Growth & Operations Lead to join Ocean & Tree and help us scale with purpose. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with the founder to drive the business forward — overseeing operations, supporting tutor recruitment, building internal systems, and helping us grow sustainably.
This is an ideal role for someone entrepreneurial who wants to play a central part in building something meaningful.
Key Responsibilities- Support and manage day-to-day operations across the business
- Help recruit and onboard high-quality tutors
- Develop and improve internal processes and systems
- Collaborate on growth strategy, marketing initiatives, and partnerships
- Ensure a smooth client experience from enquiry to delivery
- Contribute to financial planning and performance tracking
- Bring fresh ideas and energy to a growing, ambitious team
- Experience in operations, growth, business development or startup environments
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Passionate about education and making a difference
- Strong ability to work independently and take ownership
- Experience in the education sector or recruitment is a plus
