Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to identify, bid, and close projects on freelance marketplaces. You will be responsible for lead generation, proposal writing, client communication, and building long-term relationships through digital channels. This role is essential to expanding Qorvia’s footprint in global freelance marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

Manage company profiles on freelance platforms including Upwork, Freelancer.com, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, and similar

Actively search and bid on relevant projects that align with our service offerings (web/app development, DevOps, cloud, etc.)

Draft persuasive, customized proposals and communicate with prospects to convert leads into clients

Maintain and optimize freelancer platform profiles for visibility, credibility, and ratings

Collaborate with the technical team to scope projects, define timelines, and ensure feasibility

Track bid-to-win ratio, client feedback, and project closure metrics

Maintain strong follow-up routines with clients and ensure smooth onboarding

Stay updated with trends in freelance bidding and new marketplaces

Required Skills & Qualifications

1-2years of experience in business development or sales roles on freelance platforms

Proven track record of winning IT/software development projects through platforms like Upwork or Fiverr

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong understanding of IT services including web development, mobile apps, cloud, DevOps, and data services

Familiarity with project scoping, proposal writing, and pricing strategies

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Comfortable with CRM tools, tracking spreadsheets, and reporting KPIs

Nice to Have

Experience with cold outreach, LinkedIn lead generation, or email marketing

Knowledge of client retention, upselling, and long-term engagement strategies

Exposure to content writing, SEO basics, or digital marketing
