(Part-time) Business Development Associate Contractor

TecoGlobal Group is looking for a talented and motivated contractor or intern to research, identify, source, scout, and generate leads of innovative ventures interested in expanding into the Middle East. The selected intern will work closely with our business development team to identify qualified companies and assess their potential for success in the Middle East market. The ideal candidate should have a passion for entrepreneurship, a keen eye for spotting promising ventures, and excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to identify innovative ventures that could potentially expand into the Middle East

• Reach out to identified companies, source, and scout through online platforms and other available resources

• Conduct interviews with potential companies to assess their suitability and potential for success in the Middle East market

• Create detailed reports summarizing research findings and recommendations for the business development team

• Maintain a database of potential companies and track their progress throughout the selection process

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and news in the startup and scaleups in Singapore and broader other Asia regions.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and the startup industry

• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Flexibility and willingness to learn new things

• Fluent in English.

This is a part-time contractor position (15~20 USD per hour) with a flexible schedule, that requires a commitment of approximately 20-40 hours per month. The business development associate can work remotely and be willing to cover calls in time zone of Asia, US, Europe.
