Opportunity Overview
Optomi has partnered with an organization seeking an seasoned Business Analysts with a strong background in Core Banking Implementations, particularly within the payments industry (both retail and corporate payments). Ideal candidates should have a solid mix of technical and functional expertise, with a strong focus on payment lifecycle processes and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Provide expertise in retail and corporate payment systems, business operations, and the entire payment lifecycle.
- Analyze complex data using SQL or Informatica, presenting actionable insights to business teams.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their needs, translate them into technical specifications, and drive the implementation of solutions.
- Ensure business operations are aligned with payment systems and processes to optimize efficiency and performance.
- Support business in decision-making by delivering data-driven insights and solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Techno-Functional Expertise: Strong experience working with payment systems, with a solid grasp of both business and technical aspects. Someone strong with data.
- Payment Lifecycle Knowledge: Deep understanding of the end-to-end processes involved in retail and corporate payments.
- Data Analysis: Proficient in SQL or Informatica for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Core Banking Experience: Proven exposure to core banking implementations and familiarity with business operations tied to payment systems.
- Problem Solving: Ability to work closely with business units to identify challenges and develop technical solutions.
- Excellent Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
