Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial automation, specifically with Siemens technologies (TIA Portal, Siemens PLCs). The successful candidate will provide remote support to international clients, especially during Canadian CST time zone (+6 hours). Fluent English is essential for effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Siemens TIA Portal.
Provide remote technical support to clients across global regions.
Develop and maintain automation applications using SQL and Java.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system performance and integration.
Document support cases, technical solutions, and process improvements.
Communicate professionally with international clients and internal teams.

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation.
Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal.
Fluent English (spoken and written) – a must.
Proficiency in SQL and Java.
Availability to support clients aligned with Canadian CST (+6 hours) time zone.

Highly Preferred:

Familiarity with Concrete Batching Systems.
Background in Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, or Smart Infrastructure sectors.
