Agile Coach

The Agile Coach will coordinate with Medicaid and Enterprise Partners to coach on flexible/agile mindset. The Agile Coach work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Supports the Medicaid National Operating Model Transformation with Agile coaching

Designs and Facilitates courses on: Defining Agile, Backlog management, prioritization of backlog, t-skills, and other agile best practices. Works closely with a Process Optimization resource and a Change Management Lead to guide the onboarding of cross-functional teams and agile cadences and processes.

This person will need to be flexible in the agile approach taken, not specific to one Agile framework, but instead can share best practices that will work in the varying environments.

  • Attends the cross-functional Medicaid Product meetings to observe and provide team coaching, and one on one coaching as needed.
  • Identifies additional agile training needed, creates plan and facilitates
  • Assists cross-functional teams with scrum master needs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with the SDLC
  • Excellent communication skills, Professional leadership competencies, and high level of emotional intelligence
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment or good familiarity with the Agile methodologies
  • Experience in working in multi-team environment
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior insurance operations background
  • Technical documentation abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Kanban development methodology
  • Working knowledge of Agile Project Management Tools
  • Scrum Master certification
  • Previous experience planning and managing large projects
  • Prior experience in the health solutions industry
  • Working experience with IT teams
