We have an immediate opening for an important new position, our Account Coordinator.

Position Summary:

The Account Coordinator is charged with successfully supporting a team of Client Managers, each responsible for managing multiple clients through the complexity of multi-year funding workflows. In this vital role, you will work across our organization in support of our client needs throughout the funding process. On any given day your role will often change in alignment with the needs of our team, our clients, and the seasonal flow of our business. If you desire an array of work and a variable flow of work assignments, some of which may change on a weekly or even daily basis, this is the role for you!

As our Account Coordinator, your work will include contacting clients in order to retrieve documents and updates, maintaining client account information online via our proprietary FundView system, working directly with Client Managers in support of their funding work, and a variety of other tasks.

This role is designed for opportunity and expansion. As you work in and around our clients, our tools, and our workflow, you will learn every aspect of the funding process. Occasionally you will be asked to back up Client Managers during absences. Accordingly, you will be positioned for promotion into a client manager role as we continue our growth and expansion.

This is a fully remote role. We are seeking a self-motivated individual comfortable with remote working conditions and possessing self-management skills. In this role you will report to the Senior Account Director.

Summary of duties include but are not limited to:

  • Daily activities may include the following, in addition to other evolving tasks:
  • Reach out to clients requesting status updates and documentation
  • Track receipt of documentation
  • Pursue missing documents via several methods, including vendor portals, email, phone calls, etc.
  • Track the status of funding applications and verify internal systems are accurate
  • Assist with periodic quality assurance audits
  • Maintain current member contact information
  • Maintain and manage pertinent member inventory
  • Support new client engagement as necessary to support the onboarding process
  • Support the sales team throughout the business development process
  • Participate in developing and maintaining client education materials
  • Support and maintain our internal training materials
  • Engage in cross-training to ensure adequate client support during absences, vacations, and/or personnel transitions
  • Become an expert in our online tool, FundView
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Experience in an environment that relies on software for solution delivery
  • Excellent organizational skills, status tracking, reporting aptitude, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written communication, phone etiquette, etc.)
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite with intermediate Excel skills
  • Skills and qualifications not required, but desired in ideal candidates:

·      Background or understanding of USAC (Universal Services Administrative Company)

·      Background in telecom services and/or telecommunications hardware

·      Microsoft Teams experience
