Job Description:
We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our remote team. As a Data Engineer at NeuroByte, you'll design data infrastructure and build pipelines that transform raw data into valuable business insights for our clients across multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
• Design scalable data infrastructure and pipeline architectures
• Create robust ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources
• Implement data cleaning and validation routines
• Design and implement data quality frameworks
• Configure and optimize cloud-based data solutions
• Integrate data from multiple sources into cohesive architectures
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and BI Developers to enable analytics
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulations
Required Skills:
• SQL and database expertise (SQL/NoSQL)
• Python, Scala, or Java programming
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, dbt, etc.)
• Data modeling and schema design
• Cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of data governance principles
Preferred Experience:
• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering
• Background in one or more of these industries: Healthcare, Telecommunications, Retail & E-commerce, Manufacturing, Utilities, Education, IoT & Connected Devices, Energy & Sustainability, or Logistics & Supply Chain
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
Work Arrangement:
• 100% remote position
• Contract-based engagement
• Minimum 3 hours overlap with Dubai time zone (GMT+4)
